Publishing
During the five years heI served as Art Director for
AAB, Jeff watched and
helped it grow from a small local black & white quarterly to a
regionally recognized, full-color, glossy bi-monthly. In 1999, the city
of Boston declared July 15th '
ArtsAround Boston Day,' and the Governor
officially recognized each of the principles on the staff for their "contributions to the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts."
The magazine received a great deal of attention in the regional arts
community for its visuals and creative layout. With the issue shown
here, a special edition Millennium issue, he had started moving the
magazine toward a modern, elegant format using striking red and black
and simple, clean typography.
