Award-winning creativity

JEFF MELLIN got his start in music as garage band caterwauler and suburban troubadour, playing coffeehouses, driveways, church basements, galleries and subway stops from Boston's North Shore to Greenwich Village.  He spent most of the 90s he fronting the twangle-pop band the Eddies (not to be confused with the other bands with that name who've come along since) and has since released a number of recordings as a solo mod-folkie on the Stereorrific Recordings label, including Jeff Mellin Saves the World, Parts 1ne & 2we and Good for a Gander. His songs have been covered by indie artists including Miss Mary, Death by Chocolate, Superdrive and Slide.

Now based in Philadelphia, he continues to write and record for various indie labels, and is always up for new collaborative projects. He recently appeared on WIAIWYA's international indiepop Bruce Springsteen tribute and is currently finishing up a collection of songs recorded with roots-pop producer Pete Weiss, members of Orange Nichole and former Velvet Underground bassist Doug Yule.
