Song Demos

STICKY FINGERS SUITE began as songwriting game, concocted by Jeff and some friends talking about forming a new band over pints of Guinness one wintry Virginia night.  In order to whip up some material, each band member would have to write three songs based on titles of the songs on the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers.

Of course, that band never really materialized -- the best laid plans and all that. But Jeff went ahead anyway and finished writing a song for each title on the album. Before he knew it, a fully unique suite had emerged; part folk-rock fable, part murder-mystery noir,  part surrealist love story.

In the spirit of old-time radio noirs, each song will be posted here periodically, serial style.
